fābula dēclārat datque quod intus habet.

    This couplet works as an epilogue to the entire work. Some texts have it at the end of fable 60, but for the purpose of this collection, we have moved it to the end of the entire collection. 

    Fīne: abl. with fruor. 

    versū geminō: abl. of means, “with twin verses.” i.e. with a couplet. 

    quod cōgitat: direct object of dēclārat.

    quod intus habet: direct object of dat.
