346. a. Verbs in -ίζω (verb stems in -ιδ-) commonly make the future in -ιῶ, dropping -δ- and taking the suffix -εο:ε-, which then contracts as in the liquid future (§ 324).

In later Greek the forms in -ίσω occur.
b. A few verbs in -άζω (stems in -αδ-) drop -σ- in the future and contract, like presents in -άω (§ 316): βιβάζω, βιβάσω (βιβαδ-, make go) contracted to βιβῶ, βιβᾱς, etc.
