Saint Martin and the Beggar

St. Martin is on horseback and armored, facing toward the viewer. In his right hand he holds his sword, which he has used to slice off a portion of his cloak off. He is giving the cut off portion of the cloak to a naked beggar who stands at Martin's right hand, also facing the viewer. The beggar has a bandage wrapped around his lower right calf and the cut portion of the cloak drapes across his hips.
