Student contributors work under the supervision of authors. They read and give feedback on notes, work on mapping, vocabulary lists, bibliographies, image annotation, digitization, and more.
Lexi Chroscinski (Dickinson '23), Mandy Porter (Dickinson '23), Stephanie Klein (Dickinson '21), and Sam Hotchkiss (then grad student at UMass Boston), edited the vocabulary lists and Rob Hardy's notes for the DCC edition of Homer's Odyssey, Books 10 and 11. The group read over the text with Rob over a period of 8 weeks in summer 2021 and made suggestions for the notes and vocabulary. Mandy entered corrections in the vocabulary spreadsheet, Stephanie fixed formatting issues in the notes, and Rob implemented edits to the notes. The Dickinson students were paid through the Roberts Fund for Classical Studies at Dickinson College.
Eli Goings (Dickinson ’18) harvested and edited Homeric dictionary lemmas and definitions from the commentary on Iliad 6 and 22 for importation into The Bridge.
Edward Kelting (Stanford University, Ph.D. 2019) made extensive edits to the notes on Iliad Books 6 and 22 in summer 2018. His work was funded by Stanford University, thanks to Prof. Susan Stephens.
Seth Levin (Dickinson '19) made Homeric paradigm charts based on those in Pharr’s Homeric Greek; edited the OCR of D.B. Monro’s Grammar of the Homeric Dialect in the Lace interface; edited vocabulary lists for Iliad Books 6 and 22 and created html pages for the lists; edited the DCC edition of Goodell's School Grammar of Attic Greek, sections 450 to 579.
Eli Goings (Dickinson ’18), Beth Eidam (’20), and Carl Hamilton (’21) worked on the forthcoming expanded edition of Caesar's Gallic War, editing the text notes and vocabulary for Book 1, Chapters 8–54.
Natalie Ginez (Dickinson ’21), Claire Jeantheau (’21), and Luke Nicosia (’21) worked on Wells Hansen's commentary on Lucretius, De Rerum Natura Book 3. They completed the Bridge lemmatization of Lucretius 3, added dictionary definitions based on Hansen’s notes, and created vocabulary lists. They re-formatted Hansen’s notes and created draft pages for the notes. They added scroll bars. They proofread the notes and vocabulary lists.
Kelly Lambertson (Dickinson '21) created a deck of flashcards for the DCC Latin Core list on Anki.
James Dappert (Dickinson '17) prepared an analytics report on the usage of DCC over the month of January 2017 with figures for each commentary, and a summary of figures for the whole site in 2016. He also completed the task of changing all links to Allen & Greenough's Latin Grammar from the older version to the newer, multimedia one.
Michael Niu (Dickinson '17) gathered and edited missing section summaries for Aeneid Book 1.
Cadance Doyle (Dickinson '17) read and gave feedback for the notes on selections from Bede's Eccelsiastical History.
Alexandra Stagliano (Dickinson '17) read and gave feedback for the notes on selections from Bede's Eccelsiastical History.
Michale Niu (Dickinson '17) uploaded Aeneid manuscript images, created video, formatted and linked notes to Vergil's Aeneid.

Alice Ettling ('11): Alice created the Google Earth map animations to go with the Caesar Gallic War selections. She added links to Allen & Greenough's Latin grammar.
Lara Frymark ('12): Lara created the first draft of the vocabulary lists for the Sulpicius Severus' Life of St. Martin, and added satellite map imagery.
Brendan Boston ('11): Brendan helped select comments for Caesar Gallic War selections, drawing from existing sources in the public domain; he edited the Latin text to conform with the OCT; created first draft of vocabulary lists for Caesar commentary; and digitized many maps from older school editions of the BG.
