Phineus and the Harpy, red-figure krater

Phineus (center) sits in profile facing right toward an offering table. He's bearded and light-haired. He holds his staff in his left hand and gestures toward the table with his right. He is wrapped in a himation, his right shoulder bare. At far left, a young man with long hair holds a spear in each hand: one raised at head height, tilted down, ready to thrust; the other over Phineus' left shoulder tilted up toward the harpy. The harpy is bearded, winged and appears to reach down toward the table.
