Roman Sarcophagus: Selene and Endymion

Carved panel from the side of a Roman sarcophagus. Selene, steps down from her chariot. At her feet lies Endymion. A woman stands over him, holding a bunch of poppies in the crook of her left arm. In her right hand she pours something from a small bottle over Endymion.
