Kyle Gervais is Associate Professor of Classical Studies at the University of Western Ontario. He earned a PhD from Otago University and an MA (Classics) and BSc (Biology) from Queen’s University. His teaching and research focuses on Latin poetry from antiquity to the Renaissance and the reception of Classics in modern pop culture. His publications include Statius, Thebaid 2: Edited with an Introduction, Translation, and Commentary (Oxford, 2017) and John of Garland, Integumenta Ovidii (Kalamazoo, 2022). He lives in London, Ontario with one wonderful husband and two ridiculous cats.
