                         ]κ̣ικλ̣[.].[..].α̣[
                           ]η πολυγώνιε, χαῖρε [
                     πα]ι̣δὸς ἐπὶ προθύροις. 

    The three fragmentary lines that precede Delian Apollo’s declaration (below) include the vocative

    πολυγώνιε. If this refers to one of the cube-like images of Apollo associated with his cult at Didyma, then this is a sequence of divine images (aniconic, followed by a statue with peculiar attributes) that resembles the statues of Hera that come at the end of Aetia 4. This fragment may also have closed the episode of Onnes and Tottes (below).
