    Apparently, this section is about a war between Parians and Thracians on Thasos. When the Parians killed a Thracian named Oesydres, they were besieged for a long time. After consulting Delphi, they paid a penalty to the Thracian tribe of the Bisalti to lift the siege.

         He says that when the Parians killed the Thracian

         Oesydres, they were besieged . . .

         the god ordered them to pay
