The subject is the route taken by the offerings sent by the Hyperboreans to a festival of Apollo on Delos. It includes the story of Orion attempting the rape of a Hyperborean girl. The route of the Hyperborean offerings occurs also in Callimachus' Hymn to Delos 278-300.
