In the following sections (<ref target="file:///x:/Departments/Classics_Texts/schoolgrammarofa00goodrich_porson/HTML%20Files/Chapter-495.html"><emph rend="bold">495-599</emph></ref>) the separate parts of the simple sentence will be treated in this order: Verbs, Nouns (the Cases), Adjectives, Special Forms of Predication, The Article, Pronouns, Infinitives, Participles, Verbals, Prepositions.
