            <emph rend="bold">349</emph> The accent of the infinitive and participle and of the imperative middle second singular is on the formative vowel.  
            This gives -εῖν (for -έ-εν), -έ-σθαι, -ών, and -οῦ (for -έ-(σ)ο).</p>
         <list><item><emph rend="bold">a.</emph> Five verbs also accent the formative vowel in the impv. second sing.  active: εἰπέ <emph>say,</emph> ἐλθέ <emph>come</emph>, εὑρέ <emph>find</emph>, ἰδέ <emph>see</emph>, λαβέ
         
         <emph>take.</emph> But in compounds their accent is recessive.</item></list>
